Sweet Potato Pizza Crust - Gluten-Free 5 Ingredient Base
This sweet potato pizza crust is made with just five simple ingredients. Soft inside, lightly crisp outside and perfect for homemade family dinners.

Ingredients:
- 500 g sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 240 g rice flour
- 80 g tapioca starch
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
2. Boil sweet potatoes for about 10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain well and mash until smooth.
3. Add rice flour, tapioca starch, baking powder and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
4. Once slightly cooled, knead gently into a smooth ball. If too dry, add 1–2 tbsp water or olive oil. If too sticky, add a little more rice flour.
5. Place dough on parchment paper and press into a thin round base (about 0.5 cm thick).
6. Pre-bake for 10–12 minutes.
7. Add your favourite toppings and return to the oven for 10–15 minutes, until golden and firm.
Flavour upgrade:
Sprinkle 1–2 tbsp PureKtchn Dried Vegetable Mix over tomato sauce before baking for extra depth and natural savoury flavour.
Slice and serve warm.
